Nelly Korda is the best player on the LPGA Tour 2024. Now untouchable in the points standings, the number 1 on the green in pink received the "Rolex Player of the year" award.

The LPGA Tour announced Monday that world No. 1 Nelly Korda has officially claimed the 2024 Rolex Player of the Year award with three events still remaining in the season. Only Ayaka Furue had an opportunity to catch the American down the stretch, but when she did not win the TOTO Japan Classic last weekend, Korda secured the honors.

Nelly Korda may be nursing a neck injury, but she still claimed a big career feat on Sunday. The World No. 1 clinched LPGA Player of the Year. The award uses a points-based system, so it is mathematically impossible for anyone to catch Korda even with three events left this season.
