After investigating a suspicious package that was mailed to the Secretary of State's Office on Friday, officials have discovered that the substance found inside is not hazardous.

A suspicious package was sent to the office of the Minnesota Secretary of State on Friday. The office was subsequently evacuated while an investigation began, which uncovered a white substance described as “nonhazardous” inside the package.

A white powder found inside a suspicious mailing to the Minnesota Secretary of State's Office was nonhazardous. The package was addressed to the office with a return address to the “United States Traitor Elimination Army” and the discovery of the white power inside led to an evacuation of the office.

The FBI and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service on Friday were investigating the origin of a suspicious package that was sent to the Minnesota Secretary of State's Office, prompting an hourslong evacuation.
