Aviation regulator DGCA Tuesday said the merger of AIX Connect with Air India Express has been completed that sets a new benchmark for future airline consolidation in the country. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has granted the requisite regulatory approval for the merger.

The integration process of Vistara with Air India is progressing, with a comprehensive enterprise assessment completed. The merger, set for November, emphasizes data-driven decision making. Senior officials highlighted these updates at the CAPA India Digital Aviation Summit.
