The Central and Southern Ohio Region of American Red Cross is sending a third emergency response vehicle to North Carolina.

As Hurricane Helene heads towards Florida, the American Red Cross is working closely with partners and officials across Florida and Georgia to finalize response plans and urge people to make their preparations now.

At least 105 people have died nationwide, as officials airdrop supplies to devastated areas of the US south-east.
