The administration said religious structures and concrete houses were demolished during the drive that began in the early hours of the day, and it has freed around 15 hectares of government

Manohar Singh Jadeja said that around 150 people were also detained during the operation, which will continue for two days.

Nine religious shrines, including mosques and dargahs, were razed on Saturday as part of a demolition drive to clear encroachments in the Veraval area of Gir-Somnath district in Gujarat.
