Ohio State defensive coordinator Jim Knowles is a Philadelphia native who has improved the Buckeyes defense in a big way since arriving in 2022. He was a finalist for the Broyles Award in 2021 and has head coaching experience at Cornell, where he went 26-34 from 2004 to 2009.

The Temple University athletic department announced that Stan Drayton is leaving the Owls football program after joining the team as head coach in 2021.

"I would like to extend my appreciation to Coach Drayton for his commitment to Temple University, our student-athletes and the football program over the past three years," Temple athletic director Arthur Johnson said in a statement.
