I’m a Celebrity fans were left amazed as podcaster and Loose Women star GK Barry screamed her way to success in Monday’s Bushtucker Trial (18 November). After a public vote, Barry was selected to tackle the Jungle’s “Vile Volcano”, which saw her face rats, lizards, snakes, and plenty of other creepy crawlies.

The show returned to ITV for the second episode of the new series on Monday night. Fans watching at home were surprised to see campmate GK, also known as Grace, miss out on just one star in the Vile Volcano trial after she appeared to be terrified of the critters she encountered.

The public chose Barry to tackle Vile Volcano, in which she had to search through a series of caves and tunnels to find hidden stars, which could be traded in for food for camp. She was terrified as she came across creepy crawlies like spiders, green ants and snakes, screeching frequently and then telling herself to "grow up".
