Donald Trump celebrated his election victory with a surprise appearance at UFC 309 on Saturday. The president-elect, flanked by UFC chief Dana White, arrived at Madison Square Garden to thunderous applause and cheers from the packed-out crowd.

Key cabinet picks -- including Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy, Tulsi Gabbard and Robert Kennedy Jr. -- joined President-elect Trump at UFC 309 at the Madison Square Garden.

Musk then used the rest of his post to become the first participant in the public poll he was proposing. He endorsed Howard Lutnick, the CEO of financial services firm Cantor Fitzgerald and co-chair of Trump’s transition team ahead of Inauguration Day on Jan. 20, over hedge fund manager Scott Bessent.
